DESCRIPTION:

Dancong (单枞) is a highly aromatic, semi-oxidized oolong tea from the legendary Phoenix Mountains (Fenghuang Shan) in Guangdong Province, China. Grown on old tea trees at high elevation, each Dancong is harvested from a single tea bush or lineage, preserving its unique character and terroir.

This tea is renowned for its complex and natural fragrance, often resembling tropical fruits, orchids, almond, or honey. The flavor is layered and long-lasting, with a silky body, elegant floral top notes, and a mineral-rich finish. With each infusion, Dancong evolves beautifully, making it a favorite for gongfu brewing and tea ceremonies.
